At first I was a little bit shocked by the body piercing. I was actually sort of surprised at myself, because I had always considered myself to be pretty liberal. I knew I had a lot of growing up to do, but at the same time I could not overcome my revulsion right away. Nonetheless, eventually that revulsion gave way to intrigue. Part of me wanted to just start by piercing my ears – something that was forbidden to me anyway.

The holidays are almost here and I am so tired of giving my nieces gifts that are meaningless and forgotten about the day after they are opened. I’d really like to stay within my budget as well.
