Unknown Disability Scholarships for the Hearing Impaired


There are many unknown disability scholarships for the hearing impaired that many have no idea exist if you are hearing disabled. There are the mainstream hearing scholarship providers such as the AG Bell scholarship/grant program and the Minnie Pearl Hearing Scholarship which doles out (14) $2,000 scholarships for hearing annually. Other well known ones are The National Fraternal Society of the Deaf which provides (10) $1,000 hearing impaired scholarships each and every year. But, did you know that there is a company that has what is called the Sertoma International Scholarship. They administer (13) $1,000 hearing awards made possible by the donations given by Oticon and Phonetic Ear corporations. And did you know that another place called The Travelers Protective Association of America has set up a scholarship for the deaf and near deaf. The purpose of this disability scholarship is to provide financial assistance to students who may benefit from various types of treatment or special education. There are many others too offerring hearing deaf scholarship/grant awards yearly and very few people realize their good deeds.
