Treating For Infertility
This leaves many couples unable to pursue treatment options because they are unable to financially. It’s not uncommon for payments to be funded by a second mortgage, personal loan, or credit card. Treatment for infertility doesn’t always work the first time, which is why many couples may have to go through more than one cycle of a certain procedure, like IVF (in vitro fertilization) for instance, before they are successful. Infertility treatments are usually quite expensive, and payment must be made at the beginning of each treatment cycle. It’s not uncommon to spend upward from $20,000 to start for more complicated cases.
