The children are assigned a spot for such a drill and they are told to remain quiet and out of sight. Teachers hold the responsibility of locking the doors and keeping the kids quiet, but it is something that children learn young in our modern world. They don’t necessarily say that these drills are about school violence, at least not to the kids, but we all know that is what is going on. When children have school violence drills, the school system should let you know when they are happening and what they will be doing. It would be in your best interest to find out more, and then talk with your children the night before or right after the event.
