Not only are the model kits in such shops more lavish than other kits available in lesser model shops, they are also much more engaging and can lock up a hobbyist for a good length of time. After all, ask any hobbyist and she or he will reveal that a model kit that occupies them for hours together and challenges their skills and creativity is always preferable to model kits that don’t take as long to build and are rather simplistic. Although this may sound paradoxical, the thrill of the model kit lies in the completion and successful completion at that.
