Designer prom dresses

designer prom dresses

Do kids really still go to prom these days? I think this little event was played out back in the 90s, right? Then again, I guess I could be wrong about this. I'm certainly not going to tell someone not to go. However, I will tell you that the routine can get a bit pricey. Whatever you do, stay clear of the designer prom dresses. These are to not to be viewed or touched. I simply say this because high school kids can't afford them. No wait, I'll bet they're planning on their parents to foot the bill. You see I didn't know that, because I grew up in one of those "pull your own weight" households. Regardless, if you can get your parents to fork out the bucks; more power to you.

I've never been a big fashion buff. Do you know what I mean? Maybe it's because I'm a guy, or maybe it's because I just don't care about clothes. Either way, I'm proud of this trait. The last thing I want to be doing is spending all of my hard-earned dough on designer prom dresses for my kid's big night. Sure, I will spend some. It just has to be within reason. The whole night is expensive. The kids always want to rent limos, go out to some fancy restaurant and bla, bla, bla. This is pricey! If you don't believe me, just wait until your kids head off to the senior prom. They act like it's one of the greatest nights of their life. Trust me when I say it won't even come close. Far too much happens after high school.

Okay, I do realize that a few kids will be searching all over the place for designer prom dresses. This is to be expected. Some parents have oodles of cash to spend on this sort of thing. My advice to all of you is to check out cyberspace. Pop open that notebook computer and let Google do your work for you. Punch in the phrase "designer prom dresses" and check out what all 2006 have to offer. The great thing about shopping on the web from home is the convenience. This is so much easier than walking the malls redundantly. Also, you can find better deals online than pretty much anywhere. So, is it prom night yet?
