Wheat allergy symptoms and contact dermatitis
Contact dermatitis is one of the common wheat allergy symptoms for those who are allergic to wheat. It is a form of skin rashes and irritation which can either cause by foreign substance or ingredient in food. Antihistamines and some topical creams are commonly used as the contact dermatitis treatment. If the symptom of wheat allergy happens, take immediate action like wash the affected skin with soap and cool water, and avoid taking any further wheat if possible. Normally, you can see quick and positive result by applying the above methods. However, if you don’t see any improvement of the skin rashes or it even get worsen and spread to larger area, please consult dermatologist or allergist to receive a prompt and proper treatment.
