Condiments And Weight Loss Don't Mix


One of the tips that you will find in the Fat Loss 4 Idiots diet plan is in regards to condiments. This is an area that most dieters, and everyone else for that matter, tend to overlook and not even think about. Yet, as you will see, it is a big factor in weight loss.

How often have you seen people in a fast food restaurant opening up 5 packets of ketchup and pouring them out on their fries, or seen 2-3 packets of mayonaise being used on a sandwich? Happens all the time doesn't it? Well, those condiment packages are chock full of empty calories and carbohydrates.

Consider these amounts as an example; 2 tablespoons of ranch dressing has upwards of 120 calories in it. Just 2 tablespoons! Having gravy on your mashed potatoes? 1 tablespoon of gravy can easily contain more than 100 calories. When you stop to add all of these up with the different meals we eat each day, you can see how difficult it will be to lose weight at the same time. You can easily pack on 500-600 calories in a day just from condiments.
