Growing bonsai trees

Growing bonsai trees is a lifelong hobby with many benefits to the hobbyist. For instance, keeping and growing a bonsai tree can dissipate stress and encourage mental focus, patience and discipline.

A bonsai tree does not take up much space, and therefore even apartment dwelling folks can enjoy gardening WITHOUT so much as a proper yard. This is another advantage of growing bonsai. Bonsai trees help connect their owners to the natural world, even though our world is getting increasingly urbanized.

Bonsai trees will also absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen for the house. This is especially so for the indoor tolerant species of trees that can be grown as bonsai, although bonsai is generally an outdoor hobby. In Feng Shui belief, bonsai trees add a touch of life to any spot in the home, and they are almost always looked upon favorably.
