Styling and proper care in growing bonsai

One of the most popular misconceptions about growing bonsai is that they are meant for growing indoors. There are bonsai trees that can grow indoors without much of a problem, but these are not really common. Usually, indoor lighting is much less than outdoor lighting conditions, and not sufficient for growing trees, unless you can get more light for them.

In growing bonsai, a lot of emphasis is placed on the creative aspect of growing them. These “bonsai styles” as they are called, will spruce up your bonsai beyond just a typical mini tree. Bonsai trees can be trained to grow in a certain way, even though they may not grow that way in the natural world.

Nutrition and watering are very important factors to get right. Bonsai trees need water, but getting too much or too little to them can have dire consequences. Likewise, when it comes to feeding them, too much fertilizer can upset the delicate balance in the soil wherein the bonsai’s roots reside, resulting in problems.
